Identity for a popular mountain race with a visual and conceptual interplay between donkey and rock as the core of the project.

L’Enrucada is a popular race that starts in Tiana and runs along the rocky trails of the Serralada de Marina, with a strongly festive and community-oriented character. The identity is based on a conceptual play between donkey and rock: the stony terrain that defines the route and the donkey as a familiar, resilient symbol with a personality of its own.
The logo exploits this visual and phonetic ambiguity, creating a touch of irony that reinforces the playful character of the race. The presence of the donkey brings humanity and popular memory, while the name evokes the rocky ground that shapes the racing experience.
Building on this foundation, the identity evolves year after year with colour variations and character adaptations, applied to posters, T-shirts and merchandise. The project demonstrates the ability of a graphic system to maintain coherence while, at the same time, reinventing itself in each edition.
